ABOUT OUR CHAPTER
Hi! I’m Kim Douglas, President of the Southern University Alumni, Alamo Chapter. While our website is being built, we decided to create this 1-page website to help us reach out to our Bexar County Community here in San Antonio. Our chapter wants to help students get into and pay for college; preferably Southern University of course! But it’s important for them to get prepared and not wait. We want to help point them in the right direction toward resources to help them succeed. We are looking for others in our community who attended the Southern University System of Colleges/Universities, whether you graduated or not; we want you to be a part of our growing and active chapter! With Covid ending, we expect our programs and activities to began picking up as we help our community continue to become a great source for future Southern University graduates and alumni! If you know of a student or family who want to learn more about our great University, please have them fill out a prospect card that goes directly to the University. You will begin getting correspondence directly from Southern! Who knows, your student may win big money to attend our University. But you can’t win if they don’t know you exist.
